Forest Survey of India ensures that all information on its website https://fsi.nic.in remains accurate, relevant, and up to date. This Content Review Policy aims to maintain the quality and reliability of website content through regular review and updating.

All divisions of FSI are responsible for checking and verifying the information related to their sections. The Web Information Manager coordinates the review process, while the Web Administrator updates the approved changes on the website. As a general rule, the entire website content is reviewed in a phased manner every six months. Static information such as organizational details is reviewed half-yearly while dynamic content like reports, publications, notifications, and data sets is reviewed quarterly or whenever updated.

Outdated or irrelevant content is modified, removed, or shifted to the archive section as per the Archival Policy. Each review cycle is documented for record-keeping. This policy shall be reviewed once every two years or as required to ensure continuous improvement and relevance.
