Forest Survey of India maintains an Archival Policy to ensure that outdated or irrelevant content on its website https://fsi.nic.in is systematically managed and preserved. The objective of this policy is to retain useful information for reference while keeping the website current and clutter-free.

Content that is no longer valid or has been replaced by updated material is reviewed and is either removed or transferred to the ?Archives? section of the website. Archived content remains accessible to users for historical or reference purposes but is not updated. Each division or section is responsible for identifying content that needs to be archived, and the Web Information Manager ensures timely action in coordination with the Web Administrator.
