On 5 June 2026, World Environment Day was celebrated by the Forest Survey of India. On this occasion, a tree plantation programme was organized in the premises of the Forest Survey of India under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign, wherein the children of employees planted saplings in the name of their mothers. The message of "Save Energy, Save Water" was also disseminated under Mission LiFE.
