On 29.05.26, Shri Sushil Kumar Awasthi, Director General of Forests and Special Secretary, visited the Forest Survey of India and reviewed the ongoing works and activities of the Institute.

During the inspection a tree plantation programme under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign was also organised in which Shri Sushil Kumar Awasthi Director General of Forests and Special Secretary and Shri Santosh Tiwari Director General Forest Survey of India planted saplings and conveyed the message of environmental conservation.
